Subtitles in Fire MC build

I am using an Amazon Fire Stick to stream movies etc via the Fire MC build (a Kodi fork).
I want to stream Blade Runner 2049 with subtitles but the Opensubtitles.org add-on reports that no subtitles can be found.
I have seen, however, that there are many subtitles for this movie on the Opensubtitles website.
Is there anyway to get the subtitles on (or transferred to) any of the streaming add-ons in the Fire MC build?
