Download count exceeds?

Fri Feb 09, 2018 2:42 am

I have sent a PM on this matter but I want to post a msg to get some opinions ...

I use Plex for my collections and it sometimes downloaded subtitle automatically... and sometimes, when it can't, I came to the site and manually download it (if available)

Today, I cannot download anymore, it says my Download Count Exceeded... Now, I don't think I downloaded that much :) but I just remember, last night, in Plex, I did a "refresh ALL" on the entire collection... so maybe that's why it looked like I'm spamming the site from my IP???

I think the system is not THAT hard on you :)
Maybe you just exceeded the limit for this 24 hours.
Just wait a bit, maybe everything will be back to normal.
Nowadays a VPN is a must for everyone. A VPN allows you safe surfing and protects you against spying governments and companies.
I advise AirVPN - from € 2,75 per month. Click the below banner for more info.

So, you must be logged-in to download but you can upload anonymously? I don't get it.
In my opinion it is much worse to have anonymous subtitles. If a subtitle is crap you should know who is responsible for that. In the same way, if a subtitle is great you should know who you have to thank.

You just have piles of anonymous crap.

Anyway I think the current limit is fair. It's like about 20 downloads every 24 hours, isn't it?
