Kodi log-in message

Sun Feb 05, 2017 1:30 am

Hi, totally baffled by this add-on....I've downloaded it to Kodi, I've registered and I'm logged in but when I try to download subtitles it says I'm not logged in when I clearly am....same thing if I try a manual search. Any help appreciated

I know it's a lame kind of reply, but have you tried the search function of this forum?
Something like "Kodi login error"...

I advise AirVPN - from € 2,75 per month. Click the below banner for more info.

you have to register on www.opensubtitles.org (to use this login info in KODI), not on forum.opensubtitles.org
read http://osdb.link/kodi

Hey, I'm in! Yes there are two different log-in options for Open Subtitles....I used the .org one rather than the forum one and it works. Just to be sure I used the same username and password for both so it couldn't go wrong! So Google Open Subtitles and register with the one that DOESN'T have 'forum' before it and use those registration details in Kodi Open Subtitles configuration and you will be cool. Hope I helped!

I am getting this message all the time last days.

It worked great for months and now I can't download a single subtitle in Kodi.
I have the correct credentials.
When I visit the opensubtitles.org I am getting constantly an 503 error.

So sometimes is not good.

I deleted the app and made an new password but nothing works.

I have the same problem .
I registered on opensubtitles, and used the name and password in kodi.
This worked fine the last weeks, even this morning there were no problems.
Tonight i got the message that name and password were not correct.
Haven't changed anything.
what's going on?

I have the same problem, I had an account with OpenSubtitles.org and correct name & password was entered into Kodi Opensubtitle page. Originally was running Kodi 16 and for past few weeks been watching GOT (so I need subtitles for Dothraki & Valyriian) it worked okay - best when it was a subtitle file that just dealt with non-English languages. However today Season 4 Episode 4 it stopped working! I wondered whether this was something to do with the release of Kodi 17 so I upgraded my laptop. Entered the details of my account and it didn't work, tried creating a new account with different e-mail address and it still does not work! I am entering the correct details.

At the moment there are some problems with the API, especially during peak hours.
If things were working well shortly ago, then do not change anything, the problem is on our side, NOT on the client side.
We are working hard to solve the problem, so eventually it will be okay again.
Just be patient.

GOod to hear it's working for you but it's been off and on for me the last few days. Is the api working properly again?
This Instant Knockout solution made all the difference for me.
