I fixed it. it seems it was caused by stats tracking image of one tracking service...I disabled that stats

This was March 2016. Is there a solution in the meanwhile?
I have a similar problem. I still can choose language, but only one at a time (there is no dropdown with tickboxes anymore)
Problem only accurs in Explorer, not in FireFox.

try to delete explorer cache, or just dont use it. it is horrible browser.

Anyway, try to be specific - send URL on which it occurs and browser version and OS

so we can see. I dont have even explorer installed.

Anyway, not sure, but it seems like this problem is only occurring with a combination of IE and Win 8.1 and happening with ALL subtitle pages.

Not anymore....
The language dropdown menu problem was caused by my Adblock Plus program.
My wife installed the same Adblock Plus on her computer with the same version of IE as I use (she normally does not use IE). The problem also occured on her computer,..... and this is a Windows 10 computer.
So it's not only bound to Windows 8.1, but to the (new update of?) Adblocker.

I'm happy we resolved the problem because I'm still quite used to IE (although I know its not the best browser.....)
The "thank & rate" problem however is not solved by this. And others have the same problem. So, could be worthwile to look into that.

When I want to "thank or rate", I will simply go to FireFox.
