Sub packages for TV series ?

Tue Apr 15, 2014 12:51 pm

Hello there,

Is there a way to download only one zipped/tared package containing all the subtitles in a given language for all the episodes of all the seasons of a given TV series? That would be convenient. Or at least, a package per season?
Having to download 100+ subs one by one seems too tedious a task to me, not practical at all.

Thanks.
Olivier

I was well aware of this, but I get this kind of message:
You are trying download more than 100 subtitles in archive, which is not permitted. Reduce number of subtitles by reducing subtitle languages or episodes you need (subtitles: 141)
Is there a way round this? Could the limit be lifted?

For example, http://www.opensubtitles.org/download/s ... 5/season-1, which are the czech subtitles for the link you gave in your previous post. There are 141 subtitles in this subset, and it is not accepted.

if you are VIP member you can download it. There are not many series which got so many subtitles per season. The thing is, the ZIP is created "on the fly", so thats why it is limited and of course if you want to use premium features, you are welcome to donate (hey, it is 10 EUR per year, now we buying 2 x SSD disk, and 16 GB RAM, we will install it this week I hope).

why can't i download seasons 2-4 in package. Season 1 i got. for other seasons i only get that "100 subs limit" reply.

I'm pretty sure there are not over 100 subtitles inside those packages, especially season 4 because there's only 2 episodes.
