I haved same messege several times. Check your subtitle on web linka (admusements), if everythig other is Ok.

Not really an error, more of a silly mistake of mine...
Thought the username/password works on both site/forums.

On the site, it says "wrong pass" or whatever so, yeah.
My first subtitle was labeled as an Anonymous upload. Oh well. At least it was uploaded! :D

That's a first one, on other subtitles sites, forums are connected.

Hi there, first post on the boards for me.

I'm trying to upload english subtitles for Hangman's Game (2015) but I keep having this error:

402 Subtitles has invalid format, validation failed for CD 1

Subtitles do include some spanish line and are encoded in UTF-8-BOM but even converting them to UTF-8 or ANSI doesn't change anything, website and uploader keep showing the same error.

What's wrong with them? Shall I attach them and have you guys give a look at them?

I moved the topic to the General section...

This could anything, varying from spaces in the time code to invalid text formatting tags.
Copy the first 20 lines or so in this topic (use the "Code" method). Or maybe better just post the whole file somewhere.

I did run the file through several editors and none of them pointed me to spaces in time codes nor invalid text formatting tags, anyway here it is and many thanks for the help.

Please try http://www.filedropper.com/ to upload the subs.
And anyway better avoid spaces in the file name, maybe that's why it's not found in libero.it.

sometimes OS sends back 402 when it sees an URL in the subtitle file, I think it doesn't accept url and considers most of them as ads
