Re: delete the spam

@ eduo I imagine it will be to slow to do it on the phone, too  @ theboss I'm glad you feel that way, because I've tried everything and eventually ended up going to the phpBB help forum; they say that function isn't available, but it may be included in the updated software in the future. Until ...

Re: delete the spam

I guess OS hasn't had the time to figure it out, yet! I'll try giving the moderators this permission if it's available. All I know is, only administrators (site admin) have that function (which is silly, really). If this function can be transferred to the moderator group, I'll do it ASAP! :D

Re: Subtitles for avi files to an mpeg-4 player

You need to use a program that puts the subtitle into the actual avi file, so that they become one file (usually becomes divx). Whilst playing the movie using your player, press the subtitle button on your remote and it should be displayed on screen.

Re: Option to search/filter/select on *retail* subs

I don't think we need that flag as importantly as needing a flag for "foreign language parts only." We need to be able to flag these subtitles. Although, the "retail subtitles" flag would be good, just pointing out what I think should be prioritised since the "release name&q...

Re: Ads for other sites - delete or not?

When I do a full sub edit from another language, I do put credits in, but not when it's from a sub-pack. The reason is, the full sub edit takes a lot of work and that is the only thanks we get, right? Eventually I'd probably stop doing that to. I'd say credits shouldn't be removed, otherwise subbers...

Re: same-words-than-synchronisation-subs

Hi, If they are not verbatim, that means they are machine translations . Machine translations should be deleted. The only way you can get your hands on a verbatim subtitle is if someone edits that subtitle, gets it from a sub-pack (even though they can sometimes have different words) or the subtitle...

Re: Is the API serving correctly?

Cheers, lad!

Does that mean it will upload in the correct language despite any problems it had from this end? If so, only if that could be done with the rest of the apps!

Re: Is the API serving correctly?

I am all in favor of fixing the situation, but I only control SolEol :( Obviously you can only assess what you can control, but the problem isn't only SolEol, it's all the rest, too! Sub-down-loader isn't that bad at uploading from what I noticed. Even if you clean the database of all the hashes, I...

Re: Is the API serving correctly?

There are loads of subtitles uploaded using soleol, but the program isn’t uploading the subtitles in the correct language field. This is a major problem and I’m guessing there are loads of subs in the database with the wrong language. Not to mention wrong uploads from other programs, too! Can nothin...

Re: How to reset password ?

For now, I am not deleting his signature, try to do that. @ OSS I think you have to be a founder (Administrator) to be able to do that. I just deleted the signature, but when I tried it using simplytheboss's permissions, I couldn't access that page. It's been a long time since I accessed the ACP, I...

Hrhrhr. No, scooby, it's not a porn, but these french dark comedy I'm the comical admin around here  Dude, you don't need to explain. If I thought it was porn I would have deleted it. And it says the name of the movie just below the picture, so I knew what it was. Relax, relax... In my defense...

Re: A really basic question ...

Is there any software that will "listen" to the spoken dialog of the movie and automatically create the SRT subtitles file? LOL... Unless Scotty beamed us up and we're in Star Trek, otherwise you'll have to use the conventional method. Putting time stamps and the text in a 2 hour movie on...
