Re: Google translate to .srt

You must save your file with another line break.

See here:
https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/End-of-line
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newline

When I save a document in the program I use (the Subtitle Editor ) I have the choice to save it with the line break I want: Macintosh, Unix, Windows

Re: sub/idx -> srt

You can use SubRip http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Subrip or DVDSubEDit http://download.videohelp.com/DVDSubEdit/ if you need a version for Mac. Or you can use this workflow: http://www.my-guides.net/en/guides/linux-dvd-video/how-to-extract-dvd-subtitles-to-srt-using-avidemux-in-windowslinuxmac-os bu...

Re: Extract the subtitle file

The files are zipped. You can extract them with a usualy file archiver. Each operating system has one or more integrated as standard. Just doubleklick on the zipfile, choose a place to extract the files and let the programm do it's work. It only takes a second. If you really have no file archiver on...

Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day; teach that person to use the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks.

Re: computer & internet

Thx for the hint. I like Sean Penn as director since The Indian Runner . Maybe arraminax came from outside just to help us. Or maybe he/she is one of those himself. Sounds like Jehovah's Witnesses. I will definitely not buy a Watchtower. Merry christmas! On the todays watchlist (like every year) ;-)...
