Hi, I know I'm asking a really obvious question but how does this website work? What I've been doing is finding the name of a subtitle title then googling that to find the matching movie torrent. Figured out the problem, it was the VLC settings all this time!! I downloaded Subs factory and changed it to windows-1250 and it still didnt work until I unticked a box in the VLC settings. Sorted now, thanks for the help.

Thanks for that, I just downloaded Subs factory and it looks good. I changed the encoding to windows-1250 and it looks perfect.
But then I save it and even though it saves properly, it still has the same problem when opening with VLC?
Its hardly been VLC all this time has it?

Sorry I only just realised I had a reply. Is there a simple program that you use to edit subtitles because I have lots of these that I need to translate to Polish. I'd say I could figure it out if I just had a better program than textedit hahah. Thanks
