Re: General question to hash algorithms

Sublight has basically two versions of hash algorithms: old one and new one :) New version is much much faster to calculate and very easy to implement. It is described in document http://www.sublight.si/Documents/API/Sublight-REST-Services.pdf on page 6 (document is almost two years old). Sublight 3...

Result of course is not 100% correct and needs manual editing in the end. I was considering to develop something similar...

I am just giving people alternative to download their subtitles, because opensubtitles.org is down.

Nevertheless, I will estimate how much of my time would it take to develop opensubtitles compatible API...

It is problem for me to put references all over application because it would be too intrusive (this is why I asked if you are 100% strict about those rules). Combined this with other facts: -service is very unreliable -only small percentage of Sublight users is downloading subtitles from opensubtitl...

Hello os.

Are you 100% strict about those rules? If yes, I would have to remove opensubtitles.org support from Sublight.

Hello. -I never had forum on my page (don't have time to moderate it) -Sublight and SublightCmd are two different applications ( link ) -SublightCmd should work also on Mac (didn't test it but it works on Linux) -SublightCmd is not using opensubtitles.org database. -Sublight (Windows application) is...

I am already testing multithreaded search :)

In worst case scenario search takes 15 seconds for all subtitle sources.

Another alternative is Subl...
