Hi All,
I´m using Subdownloader2 to get subtitles for my TV shows. I use Windows Media Center for it. Here is my challenge. I´d like to create a script so I don´t have to look for subtitles every time I download a new episode or a whole serie. I think it would be easy if I could have access to the Command Line Interface (CLI) of Subdownloader2 in Windows. I´ve researched a lot regarding this but it seems that only Linux has a CLI. I tried the "run -CLI" command but it only shows me an error and nothing else.

I would really appreciate if someone could help me either to have access to the command line or gives me any idea on how to download subtitles automatically without needing to go through the UI.

Thanks,

Media Player Classic

Why reinventing the weel ?

Media payer classic, is a much better software than Windows media player, and does it already !!!

Go there download latest pack and enjoy :

Sorry, I should have explained myself clearer: It´s not a codec issue since I have Shark007 codec pack installed in my system. It contains the Gabest codecs which I understand is the same base for the Media Player classic that you mentioned. However I´ve had to make some other workarounds to fulfill my subtitle needs. I´m using a program called Media Controller to access the subtitle files from Media Center (SRT files). Of course that Subdownloader2 has made it easy for me to find and download the subtitles in the tv shows folders and I really thank such a nice program to do what in other circunstances could have taken me maybe hundreds of hours. Once again, I´m trying to go beyond that and let my family enjoy a new tv show with subtitles right after it´s downloaded without having to wait for me to search for the subtitles with Subdownloader. I´ve noticed that maybe the scripting should be created in Python rather than looking for a way to do it in Windows but want to see if any one suggests anything else before I go to the sourcecode of Python.
Thanks,

Today I updated to the latest version and since I started using it, I have a problem .. I can just send the subtitles when I confirmed that the subtitle is loaded, and return to the main window, the window is not clickable, so you can use the program until you restart the computer.

The forum is being invaded by smart spam bots. They fake real conversation to slip their spam links in posts.
