Hello world,
FileBot is the ultimate all-in-one tool for tv renaming, downloading subtitles and file verification.
http://filebot.sourceforge.net
It's got a clean and efficient user interface and it will run on any platform. It's deployed via a single executable jar, or if you are really lazy you can launch it via Java Web Start directly from the homepage.
Here are some of the subtitle related features:
* Find exact/linked subtitles on OpenSubtitles and Sublight (via movie/video hash)
* Download subtitles OpenSubtitles, Subscene, Sublight or SubtitleSource
* Auto-extract zip and rar archives
* Integrated subtitle viewer for srt, ass and sub files
Feedback would be appreciated. |

1 drag and 1 click. Thats all it takes to get subtitles for any number of media files. 5 seconds and you're done. |

I did the same for soleol a year ago (actually it used only a drop, not even one click required. I disabled it in recent versions while I changed some code around). It should really be an option available in all downloaders. Maybe is could put it as a "suggestion": "provide a mode to download automagically". _________________ http://eduo.info/

I did think about that. But I think that would be too much auto-magic for this application. I'd be great for context menu integrations and I believe something like that has been done. For me it's about making it as simple as possible without loosing any options.
Apart from that, I want users to see where they will be getting their subtitles from to give OpenSubtitles/Sublight due credit. |

That's the reason the suggestion was to make it optional, really. Considering I've got the request straight from OpenSubtitle's sysadmins I thought it'd be more common and I was an exception. _________________ http://eduo.info/

Thanks for the feedback. Have been thinking about it and I will probably implement this feature using different drop actions [copy, move, link]. |

Personally, I'm thinking of making the option visible only after a user has uploaded at least 10 subtitles _________________ http://eduo.info/
