Hi all,
I am middle of developing of trusted uploaders. There are some questions. As you maybe know, user can belong to many groups, each groups have many rights. Trusted uploader will be one of these group. My thoughts are following:
- if user got rank Administrator, Translator, or VIP member his icon will stay as it is now, otherwise Trusted User icon will be shown
- I am thinking, if I will make special group for users, who can give to another users rank "trusted uploader", or only Administrators will have this possibility. For now I am thinking only Administrators can give to others "trusted uploader" rank, of course, I can also select user by uploads and so on, but everything automatic has own cons, so I wont do that.
- I want mark subtitles as "Uploaded by trusted user", similar as Hearing Impaired, High Definition, or Automatic Translation, also put this to the XML-RPC results.
- if some user get Trusted User rank, all his subs will be marked as subs from Trusted user.
There are still a lot of languages, which doesnt have own Administrators, so maybe I can put on page note for people, who want to be Admins (after short review).
Any other suggestions are welcome.

ok, so I put files today on the server, it should be working, if you got any questions, ask me.
All administrators get trusted flag, if somebody from admin is also VIP member, VIP member icon is shown.

Administrators: you should able to give trusted rank to some other users from website, so take care, please.

yes, the question is, who is more, platinum, vip, trusted, admin or...?
anyway, your platinum is still in profile.

By the way, you could give yourself a new rank like
"SysOp" or so. |
