Whenever I log in to the main site, a couple minutes later, it says I am not logged in. That despite me checking the checkbox telling it keep me logged in. And please don’t just tell me to enable the cookies because they are enabled, and opensubtitles.org is the only site I have this problem.
I am just talking about the main site, the forum keeps me logged in.

Well, yesterday I tried something: I deleted all my cookies for http://www.opensubtitles.org, then I logged in to upload my latest subtitles. This morning I refreshed the page in my browser and I was still logged in. So, it seems deleting the cookies has solved the problem (knocking on wood).

there might be problem also, when you are logged in on the site, and you using some programs to log in again. Then you are logged out from the site

Well, I see it has logged me off today again. I know I used Subdownloader to upload subtitles a lot lately, but not for several days now. Could it also happen when my IP address changes? It did change yesterday.

Yes, a change of IP address will do that, as well as deleting your browser history. The site only logs users in for 20 minutes, after which, you will be logged-out automatically. OSS deemed this necessary since he thought users using PC's from internet-cafes might forget to log-out. I personally think it should be longer now, nor do I think people use the site from cafes as much (if any) as they used to back in the day.
