Hi there i am using kodi and specto to watch movies and series but after yesterday i get an error

opensubtitles error searching for subtitles

I made an account for opensubtitles in Kodi.

yes thats the issue. not only with kodi, but with all programs.

hi, still no respons for me on kodi osmc. i have no subtitles available on whatever i look for. any ideas? my version is 5.0.14

hi, can you search for some other movie (manual search). It brings the results ?

in your case there is possibility, that no subtitles for your movie exists. Try to search for subtitles for well known movie - it works ?

Thanks for answering me. I've tried right now and manual search works. So, it's the other option of searching (auto search?) that doesn't work and i don't know why. I've tried with shows i have already seen (and worked fine by the time) and it doesn't work (ex: Westworld).

I tried several shows and the only show who runs perfectly like it used to, is Atlanta and i don't know why because i'm not even seeing this show. That's very weird. I'm searching for french subtitles (that explain my poor english too :-) )

I have the same issue,

Try to search french subtitles, but no subtitles are founded.
Try to search in english, or any other languages, no problem.

Pi3 - Retropie 4.0.2 - Kodi 16.1 - addon opensubtitles 5.0.14 & unofficial 5.0.10

ok so if I understand correctly, auto search is problem with language other than English ? Manual search works ok for every language. Is that right ?
