I I'm trying to use Thai subtitles using the .srt I found here for V for Vendetta - compiled using Hand Brake, starting with an .mp4 file. This is how they show up - any clues?
Just a quick and wild guess:
I think you are using the wrong character set / encoding.
Nowadays a VPN is a must for everyone. A VPN allows you safe surfing and protects you against spying governments and companies. I advise AirVPN - from € 2,75 per month. Click the below banner for more info.
Does this look any better?
Subtitle has been sent to your email, if it works properly please upload it.
Looks Thai to me
So - the solution is NOT a setting for encoding but a change to the actual subtitle file? Then I would like to know what you changed.
