Subs for The Search

Hi. Hopefully I can find out what I'm doing wrong as I'm a bit frustrated.

Twice I've dl'd the movie "The Search" from two different sources. The movie itself plays fine along with the audio. It's mostly english speaking, but enough Russian to make it unwatchable without subtitles. I've played the movie in VLC, QT and most importantly Plex and have come up with no subs. I asked the first source about this and all they said was that the NFO is English, so that didn't help at all. I've searched the web for subs on this movie and have come up empty handed, except for subs in French which is no help. I have Plex set to scrape OpenSubtitles.org which doesn't do any good as well.

Was this movie simply released prematurely since no subs are available? Is it something I'm doing wrong? Where can I find the subs if they do in fact exist? I assume it's a .srt file I'm looking for, correct?
