Deleted requests are still alive

Tue Feb 10, 2015 9:01 am

Hi.
It seems that deleted requests are still operative time ago from deleting them. This is the only explanation I have to the fact that I had received an email from opensubtitles to notify me subtitles matching from my request
http://www.opensubtitles.org/en/search/ ... vie-189465
but I deleted it on 17/01/2015 (in that date I upload spanish subtitles for the movie and I don't need more english subtitles).
I've revised my requests before writing this post and doesn't appear this one as anyone can see in that link
http://1drv.ms/1vBpmrh
(By the way, how can I put an image in this forum?)

Kind regards,
GGG

I understand.

What is happening here - you made request and automatically you are subscribed to get news about new uploads. When you delete request, the subscription is not deleted - I think in the mail you got URL how to unsubscribe, right ?

Anyway, I think right would be - if request is deleted / fulfilled, the mail subscription should be deleted also.

Thank you for your answer. I forgot suscribe me to the post and so I had not received notification about it.
Next time I delete a request I will be alert to unsuscribe too.
What about the procedure to put some image in the post?

What about the procedure to put some image in the post?
That's not supported on the forum.
But you can use some image upload websites, like the easy to use http://imgur.com/
Nowadays a VPN is a must for everyone. A VPN allows you safe surfing and protects you against spying governments and companies.
I advise AirVPN - from € 2,75 per month. Click the below banner for more info.

Some time I try something like the thing that oss suggest. If I understand well I could do it with the image I linked in the first post of this thread (http://1drv.ms/1vBpmrh) and that should be something like:

Code: Select all

[img]http://1drv.ms/1vBpmrh[/img]
Image
But if I submit this reply in that way I can't see the image.
I'd like can put image in a way similar to the one in "ATTACHMENTS" whitin the reply from SimplyTheBOSS for my post:

I don't understand. I press button "Img" and it put the image start and image end tags in my message. I write between them the URL (for example the url you have included with my requests) and I only get an "Image" reference in my post, but no image. If I write the path of an image on my computer I don't get any image too.
If I put directly the URL it creates a link but no image again.
I think you are talking about an image that is already in opensubtitles page. I've an "Manage attachments" option in my profile but I can't upload any file. Is it reserved to other type profiles?
But I think this issue isn't important enough. So we can end it.

Thank you very much, oss.
Kind regards,

GGG

in your post you put in IMG tag URL with images - but it is html, not jpg/png/gif - so it can not open it.

I click on "original img" and I get this url

https://wnsnba-dm2305.files.1drv.com/y2 ... JPG?psid=1

and then I just put this url into IMG tag, as shown. YOU HAVE TO LINK IMG (jpg, gif, png file...), not WEBSITE.

hard...ok, try again to link this:

Code: Select all

https://wnsnba-dm2305.files.1drv.com/y2mI13OqwpGGZd-0qPuXhS1ujO6sm1AAkNH7vcY8J_bNwHwcMF9ZeO-LWbRyDpNU1hQBSE1pzO4Sa5U1NBSt6N6jrrG_LDow65lk0kBPuG1XOpIlTDUqfsYFhJKprqTu5o61OwJesMfAmA8Bj5x3abTV7XfX3fT27bbzb7h6obqqc4/OpenSubtitles10Feb15.JPG?psid=1
in IMG tag.
