Looking for subtitles files

Sat Apr 18, 2015 5:43 am

Hi,
I registered on this forum in order to download subtitles files.
I do not see how to do that.
Did I misunderstand the vocation of this forum?
Thanks.

Thanks. That's what I tried to do before posting here.
When I try to login there, I keep being told my user name or password is incorrect.
When I assemble the image, everything I click fails to take me where a subtitle file would be.
Why is your forum so complicated. You could not or did not want to make it easy?

You'll need a separate account there.
Complicated, what do you mean?
In my opinion, it is quite simple?

I think it's complicated for at least two reasons:
1-My last(easy) question remains unanswered.
2-When all and any questions have to be reviewed by a moderator before being posted, it's a sign that nothing is easy on such a particular forum...

1) The forum and the actual subtitle site are different and not connected to each other. So your log-in detail in the forum won't work on the subtitle site. You need to create another account for that. The reason for that is, in the past we updated the main site a lot and for it to work with automatic download programs and that used to damage the forum. So the databases for the main site (link provided above by STB) and the database for the forum aren't connected. That's why you're not recognised over there because you don't have an account. I hope that explains things.

Go create an account there and that should cure your troubles.

2) Posts are only regulated for new users after their initial sign-up until they make several legitimate posts. After that the site will automatically let you post. This action was taken last year to minimise bots and human spam accounts using the site for advertising.
