Can the server understand that encoded subtitle ?

Any Webmaster can tell me if the server can understand that encoded subtitle ?

Its a txt file with the content: "123456789"
My Gziped + Base64 encoded result is : "H4sIAAAAAAAACzM0MjYxNTO3sAQAJjn0ywkAAAA="


Is ok, or i´m doing something wrong ?
